Terms and Conditions
Before booking and attending any course at Bolton School of Building you must read and agree to the following: -
- Payment must be made in order for us to hold a place on a course for you.
- This can be either the full amount or a non-Refundable deposit of £150.00 for each course.
- Places are allocated on a first cleared funds basis.
- Full cleared fund should be received 2 (two weeks before the start of the course). Failure to pay the balance will prevent you attending the course. No alternative or refund of deposit will be provided.
- Cheques should be made payable to Bolton School of Building.
- If you cannot attend on the confirmed booking date, or would like to change the date of the course, provided we have at least 10 (ten) working days notice (in writing) we will arrange an alternative date for the same course up to 3 (three) months from your original booked date.
- If you decide to cancel the date of the course, this will only be accepted in writing up to 21 (twenty-one) days prior to start date of the course otherwise full fees will become payable and deposits non refundable.
- Once you have started a course, no refunds will be given.
- Students are responsible for assessing their own physical and learning suitability for the course. The Bolton School of Building reserves the right to refuse acceptance of bookings at any time before or during the course where a student’s attendance may seem unsuitable or impact the ability of the Bolton School of Building to provide a safe and high level of service.
- Students must provide suitable work wear and safety boots suitable for work in a construction area. Clothing is likely to become heavily soiled.
- Students must bring clean shoes for movement around the common areas of the unit.
- Students must adhere to given Health and Safety guidelines and use safety equipment provided by the Bolton School of Building.
- The activities conducted at the Bolton School of Building present the similar risk of injury as any construction site and DIY project at home. Courses involve use of dangerous equipment and machinery, lifting and reaching.
- The Bolton School of Building will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage incurred to or by students as a result of visiting or attending it’s courses, Students have
the right to refuse to partake in any activity. No refund is available. Each student attends at
his or her own risk. - Fees paid are for the use of the Bolton School of Building facilities, tools and materials only.
- The Bolton School of Building without notice may change course dates. The School will not be responsible for loss or damage as a result of changed dates.
- Alternative dates within 90 days of the original course date will be offered where the Bolton School of Building for whatever reason cancels courses.
- The Bolton School of Building reserves the right to refuse any applications.
- The Bolton School of Building reserves the right to alter booking arrangements if necessary.
- By paying the deposit or full course fees, means that the student/or Company agree to the above terms and conditions.
